I was so honored to be asked to make the wedding cake and groom’s cake for Elyse and Johnathan’s wedding. We started talking about it last summer. Elyse sent me sample pictures of cakes she liked. She did let me know that they don’t care for fondant so we went with buttercream icing. Not as “perfect” as fondant but tastes sooooo much better.
The Wedding Cake was Red Velvet and Italian Cream (both with cream cheese filling). The Groom’s Cake was Chocolate Mint with Ganache.
